Dagger Heartland

An upcoming actual-play podcast using the new Daggerheart TTRPG system. Very local, very fun, and very absurd. Featuring a cast of regular people who just want to have fun.

COMING JANUARY 2, 2026

The world of Merica

We find ourselves in Merica, a continent on the brink of conflict. Just five years after the War of 1218, five nations find themselves wrapped up in alliances and rivalries, and one wrong move threatens to topple everything. Spies have been captured at an alarming rate, while closed-door meetings and secret luncheons make it clear that the power still sits at the top.

In this campaign, our players will become citizens of Heartland, located in the center of this vast continent. They'll be caught up in the conflict between the nations, while also trying to keep the peace in their own backyard. Only the bravest and more cunning of heroes can bring peace back to the land, which is unfortunate because our heroes are neither of those things.

Our campaign takes inspiration from the Five Banners Burning campaign frame in the Daggerheart Core Rulebook, published by Darrington Press. It also takes inspiration from a number of great actual-play groups, such as NaddPod, Small Town D&D, Sitcom D&D, Dodoborne, Worlds Beyond Number, Dungeons and Daddies, and more.
